Meet the Director of Operations at Forecast, Mustafa "Moose" Haziq!
Meet Mustafa Haziq, better known as "Moose," around Forecast Solar! Moose’s journey is anything but ordinary. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent five years serving in the Navy as a nuclear engineer. During that time, Moose lived on an aircraft carrier for three years, where he gained invaluable technical experience and developed a passion for precision and problem-solving.
Moose’s path took an exciting turn when he became a customer of Forecast Solar. Impressed by the crew’s dedication to quality and their personal touch in handling his installation, Moose felt drawn to the team. Looking for a late-life career change, Moose joined Forecast Solar and quickly rose to the role of Director of Operations, where his leadership and expertise have made a tremendous impact.
Beyond his work with Forecast Solar, Moose is an active member of Citizens Climate Lobby, a nonprofit organization that focuses on influencing climate policy through legislative action. His commitment to addressing climate change aligns perfectly with the goals of Forecast Solar.
One of the things Moose loves about his role is the flexibility of working from home, which allows him to spend more time with his special needs child. In his spare time, Moose has opened his heart and home to three adopted greyhounds, adding even more joy to his life.
Since joining the team, Moose has even upgraded his own solar installation to an impressive 18.1 kW! His passion for renewable energy, both personally and professionally, is inspiring to everyone around him.
